Today we were tour guides for Ken and Maryann Watson. We took a slow drive from Carlsbad to San Diego stopping at every look out over the ocean, eating at a fun " Green Flash" seafood place. and seeing the Pt. Loma National Monument and gorgeous overlook of San Diego harbor. Coming home about 5 and fixing a dinner for them and for Kathy and Loren Webster. Loren is doing so much better. We ate and enjoyed a wild game of pegs and jokers. Again tonight the guys killed the gals. Tomorrow the Watsons will go camp and visit Jojoba Hills before heading back to Quartzsite and Phoenix.

Sue... thanks for failing to mention that the "patient, aka Loren" and his parteners beat our buns at pegs and jokers. I'm still trying to figure out just how that happened. At any rate... great food, good wine and heartfelt hospitality.
