We finished ONE MONTH with TALIA

It’s going well, and going fast. Already we are in our 5th week with caring for baby Talia here in Tampa, Florida.  We are constantly on the computer trying to find fun things for her to do. We try to keep the millage close to 1 hr. drive or less getting to our places of interest. We need to get back to the Apt. for naps, and in time to welcome momma Linda home from work. We don’t always make it, but we are having fun and keeping all of us busy.

Most of our 4th weeks pictures are of parks, picnics at the beach, and library tot times. So I will try to do a “slideshow” of our favorite shots.

AND HERE”S TALIA !!!

Our week was not only Talia and us, as on Saturday, Ken and Sue went to Holiday FL. to visit Sue’s 1st cousins and their family. Twelve of us went to lunch at “Miss Vicki’s on the River”, watching the boats, and fishermen and children having fun in the lovely weather. We listened to live music and even danced and had sing a longs of familiar songs. We recommend this quaint open air place to eat. good food, hot boiled Cajun peanuts and lots of beer. Good prices too. Sue enjoyed spending the afternoon with her cousins, Lou, Jo, and Tina. We sure all look alike. You can tell we are from the ERHART CLAN!

And Ken wanted to do some Geocaching, and to see a parade in New Port Ritchie. here are some photos of those adventures.

And in between all these events for the week, Sue had an unexpected medical adventure of her own. That old people’s VERTIGO raised it’s nasty head and made here Dizzy Lizzy for a few days. It really is hard to deal with since moving the head makes it worse, and other than staying in bed, you really have to move the head. But, it’s getting better, and she’s glad she had some meds left from last years episode.  Ken encouraged her to go to Zumba exercise tonight, and even though it was fun, it really didn’t help the vertigo much. they have the class here twice a week in our gym area. They had a form to sign about liability. one question was, is there any limitations for you?  Sue answered, yes, can’t twirl around due to Vertigo, Can’t jump due to weak bladder, and can’t look good like the other gals, due to “old age”!   Not sure if she’ll go back to this class or not. If not, I’ll think of some other things for her to do. Ha ha, says Sue.
